Please note that this is a PRE-RELEASE version of the Java 2 SDK (aka JDK 1.2)
for Linux.  While we believe that this version should operate correctly under
most circumstances, we do not yet have enough experience running on the breadth
of environments that are available to Linux users, so we expect that there will
be bugs.

Also note that this version passes the JCK test suite for green threads without a JIT (and passes as far as we have tested with green threads and the JIT), when run on Linux 2.0.37ac9 or above (i.e. there are bug fixes relating to multicast behavior that are introduced in ac9).
