This tutorial is a stepping stone
for people that meet Knoppix/Linux/Unix for the first time.
Beside booting and configuring Knoppix it describes standard
application software as for example evolution (time management),
GIMP (image processing), K3b (burning CDs), konqueror (file
manager and web-browser) or OpenOffice (word processing,
spreadsheet calculation, presentation).
Its compilation is ongoing, it is yet not finished. So do not
expect a perfect manual that answers all your questions. I
appreciate every single suggestion, remark, indication of
failure, and proposal for cooperation.
This tutorial describes the Knoppix Version 3.4 CeBit
2004 Edition.

crawl in a still corner and read a good Debian-Linux book
You can also have a look at other linux books available at abebooks. If you like one: BUY IT!! (I will get 3% provision. It's a nice way to support me and my tutorial isn't it?) |
