Params-Clean Parse A Routine Allowing Modest Syntax--Casually List Explicit Arg Names: Instead of passing args to your functions as positions of @_, or using a hash to "name" parameters, Params::Clean can parse your arg list for positional or named parameters, flags, typed args, or variable-length lists. The syntax is designed to be clean and easy to read, while handling multiple args of the same name, synonymous names, and more. EXAMPLE $ob->do_it(Verbose, Verbose, $stdout, Filter=>\&rot13, Data=>@info, $logfile); sub do_it { my ( $self, $filter_sub, $verbosity, $files, $data_array ) = args POSN 0, NAME Filter, FLAG Verbose, TYPE \&filehandle, LIST Data; } INSTALLATION To install this module, run the usual commands: perl Build.PL ./Build ./Build test ./Build install SUPPORT AND DOCUMENTATION After installing, you can find documentation for this module using "perldoc": perldoc Params::Clean You can also look for information at: Search CPAN http://search.cpan.org/dist/Params-Clean CPAN Request Tracker: http://rt.cpan.org/NoAuth/Bugs.html?Dist=Params-Clean AnnoCPAN, annotated CPAN documentation: http://annocpan.org/dist/Params-Clean CPAN Ratings: http://cpanratings.perl.org/d/Params-Clean COPYRIGHT AND LICENCE Copyright (C) 2007-2008 David Green This program is free software; you may redistribute it or modify it under the same terms as Perl itself.
